Brinkman auctions offers several ways to bid on each auction. All bidders must be pre-registered and accept the terms and conditions for the auction, as well as have a pre-approved method of payment (we accept Visa/Mastercard, wire transfer, checks and cash). Almost all of our items are sold with no reserve and all items are sold as is, with all sales being final. Buyers premium and sales tax vary per auction.
The four ways you can bid on a Brinkman Auction are:
Attend in person
Be sure to check the upcoming auctions page for the location and time of each auction. When you arrive, you’ll need a valid driver’s license or government id to register and you will receive a bidder number once payment is established. Current tax ID certificates must be presented if you wish to receive Resale Tax Exemption. As with any auction, it is best to arrive early to preview the items and note condition.
Currently, online bidding for all of our live auctions is hosted at ProxiBid.com. Check the upcoming auctions page for the auction time, and be sure that you’ve pre-registered with ProxiBid and understand their auction guidelines before you bid.
For those unable to attend (online or in person) we provide the convenience of absentee bidding. You will need to be pre-registered and pre-approved . Make a list of items to bid on with high bid. We will make sure bids are executed honestly and fairly. Via fax or email. You will be contacted within 72 hours by a Brinkman Auctions staff member. At which time payment is due.
